O Game Awards 2025 premiou, nesta quinta-feira (11), os melhores jogos do ano, e o indie de estreia “Clair Obscur: Expedition 33” dominou a noite: venceu nove das 12 categorias em que foi indicado e ainda levou para casa o cobiçado troféu de Jogo do Ano.

Ao todo, 102 jogos, estúdios, profissionais e produções disputaram as 29 categorias da premiação.

A trama do grande vencedor se passa em um mundo de fantasia sombria devastado por um cataclismo conhecido como “A Fratura”. A humanidade vive sob a ameaça da “Pintora”, uma entidade misteriosa que anualmente pinta um número em um monólito distante — todas as pessoas com aquela idade exata evaporam em pó, em um evento chamado “Gommage”.

A história acompanha os integrantes da 33ª Expedição, um grupo de voluntários liderado pelo protagonista Gustave, em uma missão desesperada para destruir a Pintora antes que ela pinte o número 33 e apague todos eles da existência.
